Jose Mourinho declared himself happy with his squad when the transfer window slammed shut on August 31, but it looks like he's already made one decision when it comes to planning for the next window in January.
Considering the Red Devils' recent run of poor form you might think it would concern a new arrival to help the team kick on in the new year. However, according to a report from the Sun on Monday, it actually involves dumping a player who's future in Manchester once looked very bright.

It is believed Jones' huge £110,000-per-week wages, and the potential £10 million wind fall his sale would provide, have pushed him towards the Old Trafford exit door as the Portuguese looks to invest in his defence.
There was some talk that Jones would leave during the summer but that never materialised. However, with the 24-year-old yet to take the field in a competitive game under Mourinho due to a knee ligament injury, he has been unable to convince his manager that he should be in United's first team plans.
